Juhu-based fashion designer Archana Kochhar has just unveiled her Spring Summer 2008 collection of dresses for global women which have the pizzaz to make every one a stunner.
Ruches and minute plisse folds, tight bodices, bead fringes with tantalising transparency for glamourous occasions, and black Jacquard dresses that cover the knees.
Add to that a new line of drapes, ivory beige sarees followed by chocolate brown embroidered with floral motifs with petals, all with perfect draping designs and necklines with adorable plunging backs. "I'm as much of an artiste as a painter," says Archana combining 18th century regal looks with pleasant naughtiness to create a wow bride in her ensembles. Lehengas dominated by gold, unusual cholis, all inspired by ancient Indian heirloom floral motifs symbolising spring, complete her collection.
