Filmfare Awards 2008 and Nominations are...

The mega event of the 53rd Fair One Filmfare Awards will be conducted on Saturday at Yash Raj Films' studio in Mumbai. An evening full of glamour and excitement is inevitable for the stars at the grand function.

The who's who of Bollywood could be spotted at the event. The evening promises exciting performances by the hot favourites that includes Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Himesh Reshammiya.

The opening performer to set the stage on fire for the evening will be Johny Gaddaar fame Neil Nitin Mukesh. The actor will be grooving to his movie's hit item number – 'Doob Ja Mere Pyaar Mein' apart from some other chartbusters.

The icing on the cake will be the performance by Bollywood's two most glamorous women, Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. The beautiful ladies will dance to their respective hits like 'Yeh Ishq Haaye', 'Mauja Hi Mauja', 'Nagada' and 'Om Shanti Om' and 'Dhoom Tana'.

One can look forward to the biggest entertainer of the year, Akshay Kumar anticipated to be seen in his full glory. 'Chakna' from Namastey London, 'Hare Krisha Hare Ram' from Bhool Bhulaiya, 'Dil De Maamla' from Heyy Baby and 'Kya Kiya Re Sanam' from Welcome are some of the performances to be staged by 'India's Sexiest Dad'.
