The India Day annual parade was held on a grand scale on August 17 in New York, celebrating 61 years of India's independence.
Grand Marshal Deepika Padukone and Chief guest Dr Vijay Mallya led the parade, amid much fanfare. The India Day parade has showcased India's culture on Manhattan's Madison Avenue since 1981
