Aamir Khan roped in by MoT to groom uncouth cabbies!

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has been roped in by the Ministry of Tourism (MoT) to groom the uncivilized taxi drivers in the country.
Aamir, who played a tourist guide in the movie 'Fanaa', had managed to make a fashion statement among the cabbies all over. However, MoT alleges that the taxi drivers wearing scarves around their necks appear to be scary and uncouth to foreign tourists. The ministry has, therefore, selected the 'Ace Khan' for conducting sessions on personal grooming and courteous behaviour with tourists.

Considering the growth rate of the cases of molestation and harassment of foreign tourists, the tourism ministry, under a new plan, has decided to campaign aggressively among service providers such as taxi drivers and tourist guides.

"Tourist guides crowd around foreigners and try to pull them or laugh at them. We have received many such complaints of misbehaviour. There have also been cases of molestation by the general public or service providers such as taxi drivers and guides.

This portrays India in a poor light and hampers tourism," senior MoT official Leena Nandan said.
