The debacle of Harman Baweja's debut film Love Story 2050 at the box office has played havoc with his relationship with beau Priyanka Chopra and they are heading for splitsville.
The buzz doing the rounds in the industry is that the proverbial last straw came in the form of Priyanka's kissing scene in Madhur Bhandarkar's upcoming film 'Fashion.' Priyanka Chopra has shot for a passionate kissing scene with Arjan Baweja in Madhur's film despite Harman Baweja opposing it. Sources say that Priyanka Chopra told Harman in no uncertain terms that the scene was the demand of script and she would go ahead with that. Harman was, obviously, not convinced and rift became wider.
The insiders say that earlier when Bawejas wanted Priyanka Chopra to shoot for a passionate kissing scene with Harman in his film 'Love Story 2050', she had flatly denied it. Bawejas wanted the scene to create some buzz which would have helped the film during publicity campaign but Priyanka would have none of it. However, she was all game doing the kissing scene in Madhur's film and that too with a newcomer.
Now, after his debut film bombed at the box office, Harman Baweja is feeling depressed and overshadowed by Priyanka Chopra, who is already a big star in her own right. Even during the promotional events of the film, Priyanka's stature was bigger than Harman and this led to heartburn on the part of the debutant star.
