Shah Rukh’s biography to get a sequel `Shah Rukh Can`




Mumbai, Aug 19: After a tremendous response to Shah Rukh Khan's biography 'Still Reading Khan' by good friend Mushtaq Shiekh, a sequel to the same called 'Shah Rukh Can' is to hit the stores soon.

The prequel that had come out in 2006 had generated phenomenal sales, setting a record of highest online sales.

The sequel will be priced at Rs395 and will be an account of SRK's life, from his childhood in Delhi to the sets of `Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain'. The book's author Mushtaq Sheikh, who had earlier authored `Still Reading Khan` and `The Making of Om Shanti Om`, in an interview to a news daily, said, "It's an introspective study about SRK, the human being, the actor and film personality. He's openly talked about his life, his idols, and also about how exciting his journey from television to cinema has been. He has spoken about his seniors, contemporaries and has not made any controversial statements about anyone".

Each chapter of the book that contains 24 coloured pages with pictures from Shah Rukh's childhood and growing up years, will start with the actor's quote. According to reports, `Still Reading Khan` as priced at a throbbing 3,000 bucks and since it was beyond the reach of SRK admirers from the masses, the publishers thought of coming up with a more affordable copy.
